OPEN LETTER TO LOHI'S CREATIONS

Dear Lohi's Creations,

We write this letter with respect to your allegations of 16/04/2013 on our Twitter Time-Line stating that our "Protein Pancake" post on our blog http://delaterreshred.blogspot.com/ on the 16/04/2013 was plagiarized from your website http://lohiscreations.com/.

Delaterre TGZ Limited is not owned by any one individual. It is a shareholder company that is made up of medical doctors, fitness enthusiasts,  nutritionists, media team and even a psychiatric doctor amongst many others with the full backing of a well equipped legal team. We hold our reputation in high esteem and will not tolerate its defamation.

Kindly find below, proof that your recipe was not stolen/plagiarized. Please note the dates. We have covered names of clients/followers to protect their privacy.

Bonus meal on our earliest meal plans (our 1st few recipients can testify)

From the photos posted above, it is clear that we have been sharing and using various variations of that protein pancake recipe before your post on the 13/04/2013. We had NEVER seen your website before these allegations were made. Our nutritionists are not arrogant enough to claim that we invented the recipe. They did not! They too learned from the 3.6 million recipes of the same "banana/oats protein pancake" recipes on the internet (a huge majority was posted before yours. So please, how did you invent it?) and tweaked it to fit caloric requirements and/or taste.

To be clear, we did use a clearly tagged photo from "Tasty Health".

 The recipe we posted HERE is different from yours in many ways;

  • Ingredients used.
  • quantity of ingredients used.

We have no problem giving credit, where credit is due. It will cost us nothing. We do not condone plagiarism which can be proven by looking at our previous post where we cited our reference(s). The fact that our blogs posted very similar recipe within the space of three (3) days is completely by coincidence.

Furthermore, we applaud your work on lohiscreations.com. If not for your allegations, it would not have been brought to our attention. You inspire people with your work, let us do the same with ours.We hope that our next interaction will be on better circumstances. Thank you.

Stay Healthy
The Delaterre Team.

  2. Well said. If a foreign blog had posted that recipe, Lohi would not have made those accusations. I guess its from bad experiences with Naija bloggers.
